TCS along with BITES, Bangalore had conducted Mangalore regional level QUIZ competition, at SAHYADRI, Mangalore, on 6TH-MARCH -2019. Mr. RAJATH BALLAL & Mr. SHOBITH .J .B of VI SEMESTER, COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING branch, Kurunji Venkataramana Gowda College of Engineering, Sullia SECURED 2ND place in this competition. This team secured 2ND position out of the total 190 teams participated from all the Mangalore region Engineering colleges.

KVGCE Annual Day was celebrated on 30.04.2018 at Kurunji Janaki Venkatramana Gowda Sabhabhavan Amarashreebagh Sullia D K. Dr Karisiddappa Registrar VTU Belagavi & Dr Ramesh Unnikrishnan Director AICTE South Western Region Bangalore was the chief guest of the Programme.

Robotics club

Robotics club was started on 27-03-2018 by the initiation of Mechanical Engineering Department. Dr. Pruthviraj U, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Applied Mechanics, NITK, Surathkal was the Chief Guest and inaugurated club activities. He conducted one day workshop on “Unmaned Arial Vehicles”.

V8 Cricket Tournament

V8 Cricket Tournament- KVGCE V8 Day-Night Cricket tournament was held on 24.03.2018 at KVG Playground. AOLE General Secretary Dr Renuka Prasad K V Inaugurated the Tournament. Principal Dr N A Jnanesh, Vice Principal and staff members of various departments were present on the occasion.
