A Message from Founder President
"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."
Although modern images of India often show poverty and lack of development, India was the richest country on Earth until the time of British invasion. We had a very rich Cultural Heritage and Educational system, when there was no Civilization at all in other parts of the World.
The world's first University was established in Takshila in 700 B.C. More than 10,500 students were studying more than 60 subjects. The University of Nalanda built in the 4th century B.C. was of the greatest achievements of ancient India in the field of education. In retrospection, when we look at ourselves we are far behind other developed countries. There is a strong need to revive the glory of our India once it had. The factors that made these developed countries successful is their Education system and Scientific talents they have. We therefore need to re-engineer our whole system to capitalize our strengths and mitigate our weakness and bring back India to centre stage.
Population has been the hurdle in our Economic and Social Development. Now, we are required to convert this weakness into strength by converting our vast human resources base into a knowledge base. In the new global economy India could well dominate and become an Economic Power, if it leverages it's knowledge resources. We should ensure that this knowledge revolution should become an integral part of the whole culture in the new millennium.
Hence we invite you to take part in this knowledge revolution and make our BHARAT MAHAN.

A Message from Principal
"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave trail."
The traditional industrial economy which has served so well for decades is now being replaced by a new knowledge based economy Growth and job creation is in the knowledge intensive sectors. India is in the process of becoming an economic super power and there is a growing demand for engineering and management graduates.
The students need to have a good understanding of the new challenges and changes in the industrial and business environment. There is an increasing need to grasp the rapid technological changes and their implications on global markets. They should work on building knowledge, skills and should have a global focus and the ability to work in an international environment.
The pace of technological development has dramatically accelerated through the combination of computers, connectivity, visual and multimedia capacities which have been effectively implemented in this campus. Miniaturization and speed have changed the potential of technologies in education. Engineers are better innovators and entrepreneurs through training and profession.
Innovation, distinguishes between a leader and a follower. Be leaders and not followers, be employers and not employees, be wealth creators and not mere consumers. In this journey never be afraid of risks, never be deterred by failures and turn every obstacle into an opportunity.
So dear young students, endeavor to realize your dreams through dedicated hard work, incisive skills and purposefulness. Make sure that you retain the core values and cultural strengths that define Indian-ness, particularly the values of tolerance, non-violence and inclusiveness.
Many a times a few wise words have proven to be more influential than a voluminous book. We at KVGCE, share the dream of our Founder President Late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda of making our country a developed nation. His principles, wise words and examples, guide us in pursuing excellence in grooming world class professionals in the field of Engineering and Management.
