The Electronics and Communication Engineering Association (ENCEA) of KVG College of Engineering hosted the fresher’s welcome function, ‘Aura-2024’, on 15th November 2024 for the 3rd-semester E&C students.
The event featured Er. Madhukiran A S, Senior Engineer at Marvell Semiconductors, Bangalore, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Ujwal U J, Executive Committee Member, VTU Belagavi, as the Guest of Honor. The function was presided over by Dr. Suresha V, Principal of KVGCE.
Prof. Lokesh P C, Staff Advisor of ENCEA, warmly welcomed the dignitaries and attendees. Mr. Milan P R, Vice President of ENCEA, presented the Annual Report for the academic year 2023-24, highlighting the association’s accomplishments and activities.
Er. Madhukiran A S enlightened the audience with his insights into the evolving VLSI industry and advised students on strategies to excel in this field. Dr. Ujwal U J underscored the significance of skill development and innovation, inspiring students to generate entrepreneurial ideas and pursue startups.
In his presidential address, Dr. Suresha V lauded the students for their commendable efforts in organizing a vibrant and impactful event.
The event also recognized academic excellence, with class toppers from the previous semester receiving mementos and certificates. Special honors were extended to Mr. Mithun Gowda M K and Mr. Manikanta for their outstanding performance in Python Programming.
Moreover, Mr. Ullas P and Mr. Jeevan U, final-year students, were felicitated for their exceptional contribution in designing the ENCEA website, a first in the association’s history.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Harsha M D, General Secretary of ENCEA. ‘Aura-2024’ not only marked a warm welcome for the newcomers but also celebrated the achievements and creative spirit of E&C students.
