The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, K V G College of Engineering, organized an industrial visit to the Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity, ISAC-MAHE, Manipal, on 6th December 2024 for the 5th-semester E&C students. A total of 46 students actively participated in this visit, gaining valuable insights into the field of cybersecurity.
The visit was coordinated by Prof. Adarsha D and accompanied by the department staff, Prof. Sathyajith M and Mrs. Prameela A.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Srikanth Srinivas Prabhu, Coordinator of the MAHE ISAC Center of Excellence for Cybersecurity, MAHE, MIT Manipal, delivered an engaging session. He provided a detailed explanation of the center’s initiatives, the latest advancements in cybersecurity, and the practical applications of these technologies.
The visit offered the students an excellent opportunity to understand the importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital era and its practical implications in real-world scenarios. It was a highly informative and enriching experience for the students.
