Introduction to Software and Hardware Technologies

The IRIS Club (IoT Robotics and Intelligent Software Club) of the Department organized a technical activity and learning session on “Introduction to Software and Hardware Technologies” on 27th February 2026 in the College Auditorium for the first-year students.

The objective of the session was to introduce students to the fundamentals of software and hardware technologies and to create awareness about emerging interdisciplinary domains such as Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, and Intelligent Software Systems. The program aimed at motivating first-year students to develop technical skills and actively engage in experiential learning through club activities.

During the session, students were introduced to basic concepts related to hardware systems, software development, and their integration in modern engineering applications. The importance of developing both programming and hardware implementation skills was emphasized to prepare students for current industry requirements.

The session witnessed active participation from first-year students and served as an effective platform to encourage their involvement in future technical and innovation-driven activities conducted under the IRIS Club.
