The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KVG College of Engineering, Sullia, organized a Webinar on “Career and Growth Opportunities in VLSI Design” on March 2, 2026, at 2:15 PM for the students of the department.
The session was delivered by Mr. Sreenivasa Reddy, Director, VLSIGURU, who provided valuable insights into the rapidly evolving semiconductor industry and the diverse career opportunities in VLSI design. He discussed core domains such as front-end design, back-end design, verification, and physical design, and emphasized the essential technical skills required to succeed in the field.
The speaker also highlighted industry expectations, career pathways in semiconductor companies, opportunities for higher studies, and strategies for enhancing employability through industry-relevant tools and certifications.
The webinar was interactive and informative, enabling students to clarify their queries regarding career growth and industry readiness. A total of 35 students benefited from the session.
