Mind Controlled Wheelchair

An innovative project titled “Mind Controlled Wheelchair”, developed by the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department by Chethankumar H C, Likhith K R, Abdul Hazeez, and Manjunath Mallappa Madar, was exhibited at Byndooru Utsav–2026, held at Byndooru on 24th, 25th, and 26th January 2026. The project was developed in the CSE Skill Lab and focused on assistive technology using intelligent systems to support individuals with physical disabilities.
The Mind Controlled Wheelchair attracted significant attention for its practical application and social relevance, demonstrating how brain–computer interface concepts can enable independent mobility for physically challenged individuals. The project was effectively presented by CSE students, who explained its working, objectives, and real-world impact to visitors and organizers.
The exhibit received wide appreciation from visitors and organizers for its innovation, technical depth, societal impact, and clear demonstration, reflecting the department’s commitment to meaningful, real-world problem solving.
