The Vayujit Racing Go-Kart 8.0 team from KVG College of Engineering clinched the National Championship at the Go-Kart Design Challenge (GKDC) Season 13, held recently at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Competing against over 150 teams, the 17-member squad, led by Captain Divin Kumar and mentored by Prof. Raghavendra B. Kamath (Head of Department Mechanical Engineering)and Prof. Bharath P.U., secured the top spot by excelling in categories such as Engineering Design, Autocross, and Endurance. This victory marks the college’s fourth championship win in eight years, a feat supported by a ₹50,000 sponsorship from the A.O.L.E (R) Committee ‘B’ management.
