The Mechanical Engineering Department at K.V.G. Engineering College successfully conducted a Mechanical Machines Familiarization Program for first-year students on 17th November 2023. This initiative aimed to introduce students to fundamental mechanical machines, tools, and their applications, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding.
Under the leadership of Prof. Raghavendra B Kamath, Head of the Department students explored various machines, their working principles, and industrial relevance. The session provided hands-on exposure, enabling students to grasp essential engineering concepts and develop a strong foundation for their future studies.
The program received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively engaged in learning and discussions. Such initiatives reflect the department’s commitment to fostering technical excellence and practical skills among budding engineers.
