K.V.G. Engineering College proudly hosted a felicitation ceremony on February 27, 2025, to honor the Vayujith Racing Go-Kart 7.0 team for securing the National Championship at the Design Challenge (UAAR) SechisoTI 12. The event was held under the guidance of Dr. Renuka Prasad K.V., Chairman of the College Administrative Committee ‘B’.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Shri N.A. Ramachandra, Shri Santosh Kuttamotte, Shri Sudhakar Rai, and Shri Shafi Kuttamotte, who congratulated the winning team. Dr. Ujwal U.J., CEO and Executive Committee Member of VTU, presided over the event, emphasizing the importance of advanced skills and technological innovation in racing.
The college honored the guiding faculty members, Prof. Bharat P.U. and Prof. Raghavendra B. Kamath, alongside the team leader Jayaraj and student team members for their remarkable achievement. The event featured insightful speeches on Go-Kart racing history and the 7.0 design aspects.
The program was attended by department heads, faculty, staff, and students, making it a memorable celebration of innovation and excellence.
