The Vayujith Racing Go-Kart 7.0 team from K.V.G. Engineering College emerged as the National Champions at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, from February 19 to 23, 2025. Competing against 60+ teams, they showcased excellence in design, endurance, acceleration, and braking, securing their third championship title in seven years.
Guided by Prof. Bharat P.U., Prof. Raghavendra B. Kamath, and Dr. Ujwal U.J., the 26-member team, led by captain Jayaraj, brought glory to the college. In recognition, the college management awarded a ₹30,000 cash prize and ₹50,000 sponsorship.
