The Electronics and Communication Engineering Association (ENCEA) 2025–26 successfully organised the Freshers’ Welcome Function VISTARA-2025 for the 3rd Semester E&C students on 20th November 2025. The programme was held with great enthusiasm and warmth, marking the formal induction of the junior students into the E&C fraternity.
The function began with an invocation rendered by Ms. Nishmitha K and team (5th Sem EC), setting an auspicious tone for the event. Prof. Lokesh P C, Staff Advisor, extended a cordial welcome to the gathering. Prof. Vineetha D S, Staff Advisor, introduced the office bearers of ENCEA, after which Mr. Roshan K Naik, Vice President, ENCEA, presented the ENCEA Report for the academic year 2025–26 along with future plans, highlighting the association’s vision and activities.
The Chief Guest, Er. Sujay S N, Design Verification Engineer and Founder of Logic Cell Technologies, Bengaluru, was formally introduced by Ms. Keerthana R, Lady Secretary, ENCEA. In his address, Er. Sujay S N shared valuable insights on industry expectations, career planning, and the importance of strong fundamentals in electronics, motivating students to align academics with practical skills.
Dr. Kusumadhara S, Professor & Head of the Department of E&C and President, ENCEA, addressed the gathering, encouraging students to actively participate in technical, professional, and co-curricular activities. The programme also featured the announcement of class toppers by Dr. Bhagya H K, Professor, Dept. of E&C, recognising academic excellence. A special felicitation to Ms. Bhoomika D, Google Student Ambassador, was conducted and Mr. Avin K. V read the felicitation letter.
Dr. Suresha V, Principal, KVGCE, delivered the presidential addresses, appreciating ENCEA’s efforts and motivating students to strive for excellence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Ashlesh H S, General Secretary, ENCEA. The one-hour programme was well coordinated and left a lasting impression on the freshers, fostering a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for their academic journey in the E&C Department.
